Coming home to the Mothership

The Mothership is a rustic traditionally designed Balinese home with three private rooms, sharing an open planned living and dining area, opening onto a large outdoor decking and pool.

Peace and tranquility

If your style is weathered charm and relaxed living spaces you will appreciate the peace and tranquility of this home. Built from salvaged teak that was originally a sailing vessel.

Reclaimed wood

We have left the reclaimed wood fully exposed as our main feature, with old barnacles and structural ribs that are hundreds of years old.

Between inside and outside

The Mothership has been designed and lovingly built by Balinese builder and entrepreneur, Mr Ida Bagus Oka Genijaya, with beautiful traditional hand carvings, local stone and a gorgeous outdoor bathing space. The third room is outside and up open stairs and is a modern take on the local huts typically used to store rice.
